Late last night Saigon's mother passed away, the details of her passing have not been specified, she had been in ICU at a new york area hospital.
We at YO!Saigon would like to extend our condolences and deepest sympathies to Saigon and members of his family.

He was just tweeting about his mother's passing. He also left a MySpace blog too. I feel for Saigon. My mom lost both her parents to cancer. So I understand how he feels at this point. I hope he remains strong and make it through this. And don't look at it as grief, look at it as comfort. She doesn't have to fight anymore. RIP Joesphine.
ReplyDeleteIt's a trip for me... I had heard of Saigon the rapper for some time, how good he was, how he should be blowing up. But I never went out and checked for his music. Then last week I'm listening to the radio and this DOPE track comes on... it was a mix by Electric Skeletah (or something like that) and the flow was crazy. At the end they said it was Saigon from his Warning Shots 2 album, that blew me away. I thought to myself, I gotta go check this guy out. Then last night lsitening to Shade45, I hearsd another wicked flow from this dude, only to have the DJ interupt and say that his mom's had passed and this was an R.I.P. mix. They played a few of his tracks, all of which were quality. Anyway, sad to hear Saigon's moms passed. Mine just went through surgery AGAIN, and it's tough seeing them in a hospital bed. My prayers go to you Saigon, keep your head up. You got a new fan.
